This is our first stay at the Cornell Inn, which has 3 buildings and has had excellent renovations to its latest bought house. My wife and I found the staff (over 20) and the inn truly amazing. We were luckily able to get a room (The Jennifer) for one night. We wished we could have stayed longer as our room was comfortable and clean with a new bath ( a little small but this was no problem for us and it had an excellent new shower). We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine in the room free of charge. On arrival, we were treated to an ice cream/ brownie snack with some wonderful Sangrias. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of 3 entrees, sides, choice of juices, baked items, and coffees or teas served indoors or next to a pleasant patio outside near a constructed pond . There is also a cognac hour later in the day. Other guests were friendly but the staff is truly amazing and make you feel welcomed- they make the inn positively different without being intrusive. The Inn is close to town and Kennedy Park ( you walk or drive there and take a small hike to a beautiful viewing area). The price is more than fair and it’s a B&B you’ll fondly remember.
