The customer service was terrible. The rooms need an update there’s a lot of humidity and the smell of humidity was terrible. They charged me a late check out fee for 10 min. There’s so much better options for the same price or even less.

The hospitality, friendliness, and professionalism of the personnel, from the waiters and waitresses, to the housekeeping team, exceeded by far my expectations. It is a very old hotel and some areas need to be brought up to date, but it is very cozy and it still carries the elegance of a golden era, specially in "La Azotea". Improvement needs to be done with the bathroom. Overall, I will definitely keep staying there every time I go to Santo Domingo.

The food was terrible, I got really sick, a few staff members were really rude and disrespectful, there was a lot of confusion with my booking, I was originally scheduled to stay there for three days I cut that short and stay one night.

This hotel is more for families and maybe couples. The hotel was different than most. They had a soccer field, basketball court and a nice gym. The staff was friendly. The room was nice and bathroom was the best part of the room. The furniture was dated but the bed was comfortable. The restaurant had pretty tasty food. The casino was closed, this is a fact they don't put online. I would not stay here again. The only reason is its just set-up for families and couples primarily.
