Legacy, convenient & comfy
Close to many things but with the pandemic not a lot was opened anyway. Clean and comfortable. No frills and basic - I didn't need anything more. I have been going to this hotel since I was a child and now at my 60+, glad it is still around.

Gringo in Guatemala
I chose this hotel because it advertised a shuttle service to the airport. There was no shuttle service to the airport. I ended up having to pay for a taxi. Other than that it was worth the stay. The staff was extremely helpful with all my needs. A+ for the staff.

A great place to stay in Guatemala City!
Desk staff were awesome- I had a couple of small issues that I needed help with and they were fantastic ( especially you, Mildred!) . I had a late flight out and they worked with me to allow a LATE checkout without paying for another night. The included breakfast was quite good- far better than just watered down juice, coffee and cereal/stale doughnuts. Real eggs, sausages, beans, fresh fruit, pastries... very tasty.

Close to everything, clean and most of all the staff was all great. Breakfast was good and one waiter makes the best healthy shake in the mornings .

I was charged more than the Expedia price. I asked directly the front desk why I’m being charged 120 and not the 115 like my Expedia booking she said oh WE at the hotel use a different exchange rate which is different than the national exchange rate. It was only one night so I had only $5 diff , imagine if you got for long stay ? They do this AF their benefit not the lawful and correct one . When I asked to honor the price advertísed then she said no this is our policy NEVER STAY HERE.... plus there isn’t any VIP service . No upgrade, no discount....
