Building work on-going but price reflected that. Limited food outlets for dinner. Only one restaurant open most nights. Hotel is quite a way from any other restaurants so needed to take taxis

The staff were exceptional, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left everything was perfect. Instead of the staff waiting for me to ask for service they took the initiative to ask me if I wanted services, like I like to drink sparkling water with my meals, after a couple of times ordering it with my meals, I was asked if I wanted sparkling water when I sat down for dinner and I was asked when flight leaves on the last day of my holiday, the front desk contacted me to say I can have a late check out as my flight left in the late afternoon. The service was impeccable, the staff in the dinning room even insisted on carrying our plates from the buffet to the table once we had made our food selections from the buffets. Most times staff greeted me by name. Special thanks to Ashleigh at the front desk and Shiela in housekeeping who totally went out of their way to make me happy. The best hotel I have been to.

We reached around 9.00 pm and they said we have booked you for bed & breakfast but we had booked for half board which they didn’t agree inspite of showing the booking receipt from the app so finally we had to pay for dinner that day also it left us annoyed then from the website I took out the complete booking and showed them then only they agreed and then our stay was smooth .... part of the hotel is under renovation which was not informed earlier while booking Staff were courteous and helpful

The hotel itself is old and in desperate need of modernisation (work starting May 2019) but the staff are OUTSTANDING and the very reason I will keep going back to this hotel. If the staff continue to give the same level of service after the modernisation and renovation works are completed then this will be the BEST hotel to stay at in Mauritius.

The property is awesome for family stay. The beach is a walking distance, property is beautiful, most of the water activities are available on the property itself. The restaurants are very versatile. All in all, it was a very nice stay

Amazing dump. We checked in early to leave our bags. Lots of time to check in and we were late. No check in for the bags. Came back late after long day. Raining hard. Water coming through light sockets in lounge. No food available late. Lounge waitress very,very slow but also totally indifferent. Took forever to get the check. Bags were not in room. I called upstairs - they could not find them. After 10 minutes I went to help look. The bags were found right next to main entrance where presumably they were left all day unsecured. Luckily no one took anything. No late night menu in room as promised. No help bringing bags up in morning - no elevators - only stairs. No latte with breakfast in site of three polite requests and assurances it was on its way. Check out took over 20 minutes. Only one clerk working until we complained to guest services and the line grew to over 5 guests. Old, tattered property with only 1 in 5 workers who seem to care. Extremely expensive considering facilities and overall approach to guests.

Large beachside hotel, that did not live up to my expectations. I booked a “NIVANA” room in what is apparently there best rooms. The reality is that I felt it was tired, dated and not at the level expected. On a very positive side I thought the hotel staff around the NIVANA complex were excellent and very friendly.
