I hate being the guest with the negative review, but my spouse and I stayed at TRS for 4 nights from the 24th - 28th of March and decided to extend our stay since we loved the resort and enjoyed the experience. Initially, we preferred to stay with TRS, however KANTENAH was $250 cheaper and had good reviews along with had a beachside suite. So I thought why not, and booked with KANTENAH instead.
Once we arrived at the check in desk, the check-in lady, I believe her name was ‘Jocelyn’ was very rude to us. I recall myself being very polite to her and asked her questions respectfully. She appeared extremely bothered and at one point she displayed a very rude and dull response, “what else do you want” when I tried asking her a simple question. I do not understand what I said or did to this lady for her to treat me this way but the fact that she spoke to me disrespectfully in front of my spouse is completely unacceptable considering I spent almost $600 on this extra night. No one deserves to be disrespected this way especially when they spend great money to be here.
On top of that, the check in lady was in a hurry the entire time and did not take any time to properly discuss the suite or any of the resort amenities with us. It would have been nice If we were educated on this rather than us having to ask her questions since that clearly made us feel like a burden to her.
