This is a good boutique hotel at a very good location. We stayed in a Mirage Room which is on the top floor with a nice view. The front desk guys are very warm and helpful. The Room was pretty big and spacious. The couple of things that bugged me every day was the room cleaning service. WE stayed for 4 nights and for 3 days we did not receive clean towels. There were no hand towels at the sink. We had to ask for bath towels everyday at night when we came back. The shower in the bathroom was leaking and needed repair, we complained about it on second day but it was not repaired till we checked out.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of days with several family members. The rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The included breakfast is much more than only continental, it is great topical Mexican breakfast. Try the Chilaquiles.

Illusion Boutique Hotel's staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We felt at home the from the moment we arrived until we departed. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast, which was included, was good and the breakfast staff was great. The location was within walking distance to most places and great for shopping and restaurants. The only derogatory comment I would make is that the hotel is very noisy with doors banging and guests talking at all times though could not hear any noise from the street. Overall it was a very nice place in the middle of everything for an affordable price.
