Clean hotel, decent facilities, pool nice and warm, usually you can find parking outside unless it’s peak season. But scored down because they had no vegetarian sasuages despite us mentioning when we checked in. This is unforgivable in this day and age as there was no alternative and a lack of initiative to solve the issue eg go to the local coop and get some. Not very inclusive…

The towel radiator rails were rusty and leaking in both rooms. We were in 100 and 101 in basement. Mould in showers. Pump hand soap in bathroom would be better than bars. Rooms were cold took ages to heat up with the a/c machine. Marks on the velvet bed looks like sick down the sides. No bed guards at hotel and children on single beds and not even against a wall with a radiator next to them although they didn’t seem to work. Swimming pool is tiny and only suitable for a couple of people at a time. Breakfast was average basic tea and coffee no machines with choice. Pictures definitely make it look better than it is.

Hotel and room clean. Bathroom in room was very compact and there was a bit of a smell most likely from the drain. Bed mattress was not firm and seemed to bend in middle when you sat or slept on it. You get one small round soap bar that does not last and they don’t replace it. AC in room is supposed to provide heat but it is temperamental and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. If you leave it on long enough it does warm up the room. Room was a double but it was pretty company. Essentially it is an old building that has been refurbished to make it a hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Did not try breakfast/bar/gym/pool. Hotel is supposedly a 4 star but to me it is definitely a 3 star and not sure how it can be classed as 4 star. Worth a stay if you are in for a night or two but don’t expect quality of 4 star.

The pool area is tiny, sauna and steam room not working. Single room the smallest I’ve ever stayed in and the worst nights sleep. Overall I would not recommend, definitely NOT a 4 star!

The staff was nice . The room was clean but no hooks for clothes and no hooks for towels in the bathroom ! The swimming pool was very small and we could not use it because was too busy . Breakfast was nice except the coffee .

The hotel unfortunately feels more like a 3 star than a 4 star. The breakfast is quite limited and the rooms weren’t as clean as we would expect. The staff were helpful and kind. The pool is quite small it’s a good size if you manage to get it to yourself but as soon as it gets busy it’s no good. The sauna takes a while to heat up and the steam room was out of order.

Pillows could be thicker and 2 each per guest , a bit of a update in bedroom furniture as it was quite a small room too much furniture.Bathroom was clean but tired , bed also clean but a better mattress would be key for a good sleep , Breakfast was great , only thing maybe to have a selection of vegan options could be provided .Staff were fruendly
