Simple but modern, location off-centre

A good option in Aarhus if you don't mind off-centre location. It's reachable from the city centre by c15min bus ride and is served by several buses - so at most times you will not have to wait long. Also, the stop is right across the street. Simple, clean, modernly equipped room covering all the necessities. The size is actually fairly generous when compared with other Danish 'budget' places I've seen. Perhaps even stylish - though instead of exposed brick there is exposed concrete panel.

Curtains, real curtains are needed in the rooms. Curtains that will block the outside world light. Who would have thought that, in 2019, a hotel does not have proper curtains. Breakfast ... where scrambled eggs are unavailable as we have to boil our own eggs? Let's talk about reception - Well, the reception employee is not always at the front desk. Why? The employee has to juggle between the breakfast area and reception. This causes unnecessary waiting. Denmark is such as expensive country that this is what you get. Beds are never made in the morning either. Vacuum cleaners are left in the hallway for all to see, seriously.

Basic hotel, fine for somewhere to crash. Friendly check in staff and nice looking reception. Location is ok-ish but you need to get buses to get near the centre. Get an aarhus card or you will go broke paying bus fares. Only complaint was housekeeping. Our room was missed completely on one day and on other days it was done but things were not refreshed/replaced and on the last night one of our pillows was taken away (?) We only realised at bed time and there was nobody on the desk to help as it was late, so a bad night of sleep for one of us before the morning flight for a silly reason. Also the floor became dustier and dirtier as our stay went on so I don't think they were sweeping and I was picking up grime on my feet between walks to the bathroom and bed and back. Basic, functional, no frills, if you want comfort, pay a little extra for another place.

There was only one iron machine and iron board in the hotel and located at the ground floor toilet and if you wish to use it you have to use it in the toilet and you can’t take it to your room!

Parking facility (in adjoining public car park) was very useful - but not obvious how to enable the parking permit. Some instructions on this for overseas visitors may have been helpful. We also think USB charge points would be good - esp for foreign travellers. This was a functional hotel in the right location for us.
