This is about as different from Nassau as it's possible to be on such a small island! Across the road was a great beach and we were usually the only ones using it! Very gradual slope so it's fine for children. There's only one place to eat within walking distance, so a car is necessary. The local dining spot has true caribbean ambiance, the people are amiable, the food is Bahamian, service laid back (read slow), but you can have a drink and relax while you're waiting. It's easy to arrange scuba diving, horseriding etc. The condos are fairly basic, but spacious and well equipped.
