About 10km from Arezzo is this romantic holiday home in a quiet side valley.
The former hayloft has been lovingly restored: on the ground floor is the bright living room with kitchenette and access to the covered terrace with barbecue; a spiral staircase leads to the first floor, where the large bedroom with bathroom is located. Also from the bedroom there is access to the rear terrace with a private garden area and sun loungers. The accommodation is the dependence of a villa, which is inhabited by the owner in the summer.
The location is ideal to visit Arezzo with its interesting old town - the Corso, the Cathedral, the Pieve and the church of San Francesco and the main square. Numerous restaurants offer local delicacies. In June and September, the traditional equestrian games of the Saracino take place on the Piazza Grande; every first weekend of the month, the whole old town is colourfully animated by the large national antiques market.
From here you can quickly reach the pretty town of Castiglion Fiorentino (12 km) with a wide view over the Chiana Valley, the Etruscan town of Cortona (25 km) or the picturesque Anghiari (20 km) in the High Tiber Valley. The Trasimeno Lake with its sandy beaches and islets is 45 km away. Shops, restaurants and bars in Palazzo del Pero (3 km).
