Amazing service, good (not great, but good, varied and well prepared) food; needs a bit of an aesthetic update but the resort was in great shape and staff were cleaning, painting, working on it constantly; the events were WAY too loud--all mics at the resort, day and night, need to be turned down AND the activities folks should learn where to hold the mic so we can not only hear but also understand what they're saying; we took Cancun Shuttle to get there and it was about 30 minutes/$33 each way for private transport.If you want a very specific lounge area, get out there early (like 8) and reserve it with your towel or book, but there were plenty of seats of different types scattered around the beach and three pools, with and without shade (lots of umbrellas available). Service was truly amazing everywhere--poolside bars (Hi Nico and Juan!), in restaurants and the inside bars (shoutout to the amazing Abu at the Art Deco Bar!), front desk etc. (even if our AC never worked properly, at least they tried to fix it twice and followed up!). Workout classes around the pool were VERY easy and short, and people had a great time with Cristian! he spa treatments were AMAZING too (book online for 10% off). PS if you have a late flight and have to check out at 11 AM, you can still stay on property until you leave and continue the all inclusive eating, drinking, pool use etc. and take showers/get dressed in the spa bathroom.
