I was greeted at the desk by a VERY professional appearing desk clerk....I'm talking suit and tie. This gave me my first impression. Registration process was speedy. The room was a lot larger than anticipated. Very clean, all the amenities I required..coffee, fridge, bathroom supplies. The bed was soooo comfortable, TV easy to operate (sounds silly but sometimes there are way too many buttons!). Very quiet, heater worked well, too well! I had to turn it down! I traveled alone and felt very secure. The only negatives I have is the light in the back parking lot was out. Albuquerque is know for car thefts. I would have felt better if it was well lit. The elevator was still down, but I was on the first floor so it didn't inconvenience me. I had just read it in other reviews. The sheer curtains needed to be replaced (rm 408). The bottom looked like a cat had clawed them and there were dark red spots splattered on the bottom third. This hotel is partnered with the Crowne Hotel and shares the restaurant and other amenities that we could use. The exercise room and pool looked immaculate although I didn't use either. The common patio was beautiful. I will definitely stay here again as I come to Albuquerque often, and felt very comfortable traveling alone!
