We can look past a Quaint room(as pictured) smallish bathroom, scratchy towels, thin walls, because of the service! A good price here for Carmel. Close to everything. They went out of their way to ensure a good stay. Breakfast delivered, and an afternoon wine and cheese tray. Manager, Karen, will take care of your needs; ask her!

A 10+ from the moment we arrived. Friendly welcoming staff, greeted with daily wine, cheese, crackers, and cookies. Cozy clean room with upgraded amenities, nice bath, rounded off with a wonderful breakfast in the morning..

Amazing place to stay with a big room near downtown and great walking location. Room was spacious and the morning breakfast was delicious.

Great customer service and a clean and comfortable room. They gave us a wine and cheese box as a bonus and were very hospitable. Will absolutely be back.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've EVER had! And I like to stay in really nice hotels all over the world, so the bar pretty high. Coachman's Inn completely blew it out of the water and made our stay so amazing. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Carmel By The Sea, just off of Ocean Ave. There's a private parking lot and parking is included, and you get to park right in front of your room. Breakfast was included each morning and delivered right to our room at our requested time, and left outside our door to follow COVID19 safety and social distancing. I was expecting a crappy free continental breakfast like microwaved pancakes - but the breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious every morning! From Eggs Benedict to vegetable quiche and fresh baked croissants, hot coffee and homemade muffins. To top it off, every day we got a wine & cheese picnic lunch to take. This is such a simple thing, but it really made our trip so wonderful. The wine was good and they even sent us a text every afternoon to remind us to pick it up at the front desk. The room was very cozy, clean, and renovated. This place is a MUST STAY!! You won't be disappointed.

I get that Covid makes things more difficult, but I really expected a better experience at a Four Sisters Inn, given the rate we were charged. Instead of their daily happy hour, we were given a small paper plate with a few slices of cheese, crackers, and two cans of wine. No utensils and no cream or sugar for in room coffee. Breakfast was delivered on time and tasted good, but portions were very small. No housekeeping services, either.

The service was great at Coachman's Inn! cute boxed wine and cheese platter each afternoon as well as breakfast in the room each morning (due to Covid). Great fireplace in the room and walking distance to everything.
