The hotel is in a prime position and has only been operating for a short period.
This is sold and priced as a 5 star hotel but it is not at that level from a service point of view.
The waitrons generally in the restaurant area are very inexperienced resulting in slow service and tables not being cleared after each serving of the meal.
The cleaning and servicing of the room was erratic,sometimes immaculate but most times sloppy and little attention paid.
The air conditioning was faulty and despite the technician being called and attended to it,the temperature control never worked resulting in a warm temperature although the control reading was 12 degrees C not very pleasant over a long stay( i stayed for 9 days,but fortunately I was out on business from early morning till late)).
We had no hot water till 10 am one morning...
the staff training and maintenance needs improving..
The staff at the front desk and a t the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
I feel that the hotel hasn't settled down and is going through many teething problems...and should improve once it settles.
