Showed front desk Expedia confirmation on cell phone. She didn't understand, took credit card & I thought I was paying $12 pet fee. Nope, she charged room plus pet fee. Finally went to husband & he found confirmation & corrected situation. Finally got to room & it was filthy. Would have tried to change rooms but it was late & we had unloaded & were tired. Floor was filthy & you could see it hadn't been mopped. Beer cans were on floor between chest of drawers & mini fridge. Mini fridge wasn,t cleaned out as there cans of Dr Pepper & food container left in it. Smoke alarm was unplugged & in chest drawer.Bathroom had unfinished wood in it. No toilet paper in room. Had to go to office to get a roll. Lite fixture in bath room was uncovered. Pair of previous customers dirty socks were in dresser drawer. Security locks on front door were next to nothing & you could see light between door & frame. One light between beds was burnt out or wasn't working. Next morning I showed owner or manager photos I had taken & he showed little concern. Asked him when room was last cleaned & he said the previous Thursday( 6 days previous after looking at his log) And besides all the above, the T V didn't work. Thank God we were only there for several hours sleep.
