The property is located about 10 minutes from the center of Amalfi. Made for beautiful walks, quiet and relaxing at night. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast buffet and happy hour were a great way to start the day and relax before dinner.

The staff was very friendly. My transfer to Capri by water was canceled. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting me to my destination on time and without stress.

The location of the hotel and proximity to the beach and town were decent but did not make up for the terrible service and rudeness of the staff. Quite remarkable how bad the service was. The breakfast food was poor and recycled. In our 30 years of travel this is the only hotel that ever refused to give us one more towel. We had a spill in our room and they refused to give us even one more towel! I am glad we stayed here two nights. It was very disappointing. I do not recommend staying here.

We recently stayed at Hotel Aurora for 5 nights. We were greeted at Check in by Inrico and luckily saw him our last night too as he was so helpful and welcoming. He gave us great restaurant suggestions and was to nice in helping us to our room and insisted on helping us with the bags. It is so nice to get somewhere new and have someone to pleasant! Our room was quite large and much bigger than we expected and the terrace is also very large. Good temperature control and lots of drawers. We also loved the location. This is one of few hotels located on the main road level where you do not need to hike up an incline or many steps to get to your hotel. It was a quick walk to the port and to the main town area as well as the beach. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out where to stay and if we should stay in Amalfi and we were very happy with our decision. Breakfast was also very generous as well as a welcome drink and snacks, and the staff were very courteous. Sorry, my photos seem to be attaching sideways, but one is from our terrace and one is of the beach area in Amalfi. Thanks again for having us!

Hotel Aurora is an excellent location, right in the hussle of Amalfi yet it maintains sense of seclusion and serenity. Best part is small, secluded private beach. We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel is very clean, comfortable & in a great location.

We were there when it was very hot. The only drawbacks were it took awhile for the room to cool and the shower was very small. The breakfast and the staff were excellent. The hotel is at the bottom of the mountain but we still had a good view of the ocean. It was also an easy walk to the ferry and bus depots.

The pictures are nothing to what it appears. For spending over $300 dollars, it would be best to do an air bnb. The “sea view” was nearly a window with a partial sea views that over looked a parking garage. Not staying here ever again.

Beautiful terrace for breakfast provided daily. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Short walk to town center, overall a great experience!

This hotel was perfect for us (a couple in our early forties looking for a reasonably priced, well-located hotel). We were able to walk from the ferry terminal to the hotel with our bags in tow. We paid a little bit more for a room with a water view and had a FABULOUS terrace that overlooked Amalfi harbor! We ate dinner on the terrace twice. I swam in the hotel's private swim area twice. The air conditioning worked really well. The room was beautiful. And Amalfi was a great jumping off point for daytrips to Ravello and Positano (and Capri, had we gone)! We had a fabulous stay!
