Booking for a wedding anniversary & as a Hotels.com Gold "VIP Access" customer, I expected a whole lot more from Scape Living at Franklin.
As part of the Gold access we were supposed to receive a "Free bottle of wine per stay" & "Free room upgrade when available". We got neither.
This along with the fact that the air conditioning in our room was not working properly (admittedly it was a hot couple of days, but if you can't open a window in the room, you at least expect to be able to sleep comfortably at night with air conditioning that works).
On our second day, we were moved to another room (as I mentioned that the air con didn't work in our current room) & it wasn't much better.
So much so, that we decided to simply go home instead of stay our second night.
Overall the rooms were nice, a decent size & comfortable, but the lack of air con (& expected VIP extras) made for a pretty disappointing stay... & subsequently a pretty average kind of wedding anniversary weekend away.
With a bit of care & attention, this place could be a great inner city stay. But as it is, it leaves a bit to be desired.
