I had a disappointing stay, particularly given the price.... I was really excited because the communications were excellent!
Unfortunately, my room was somewhat below grade, and viewed the driveway on one side, and the back/lot on the other. This meant that I had to keep the blinds closed the entire time. All sounds telescoped through the room from the upstairs and next door. Especially uncomfortable was when the adjacent room used their jacuzzi tub. At first I thought I was next to facilities/operations/utility room -- it was loud and my whole room vibrated the entire time. The breakfast card offered few options, and from those you were directed to choose even less ("Choose one," etc, not one from each limited category). No non- dairy or gluten free options, and warned that you might receive a $25 charge for this anemic meal. I got an egg and had to ask for salt and pepper.
I appreciate this is a charming, older building, but reasonable (not wildly expensive) gracious improvements could be made that would make for a much more pleasant experience. Maybe staying upstairs is a better. I won't be returning, but the Inn has potential.
