This resort was clean and beach access was excellent. Those are the only 2 good things I can say. They charge a "resort" fee, which is probably worthwhile in the summer, but not off season. And the fees that Hotel.com charge add even more to the bill. I was supposed to only pay 10% for this "resort" fee, but was charged 20%. The hotel sent a statement that my room was $317.83 for 2 nights, but Hotels.com charged me $443.64 because of their fees. On top of the "resort" fee, they charged me an additional $25 PER NIGHT to PARK!! The only amenity I really wanted to use was the hot tub. However, on Friday night a slew of family and kids came in on a bus and you could not get near the indoor pool or the hot tub. The kids were running around like animals just let out of a zoo. It was so noisy! I do not understand how the adults in the group thought this was ok! And to use the hot tub, I had to leave my building, walk across the parking lot, pass through the other building and walk outside to the indoor pool area. It was NOT a pleasant situation. I walked all the way over there, and then found the hot tub packed with children. No one was following the rules on using it, and the "resort" did nothing about it. Other issues I had were that my skin was extremely irritated by whatever they used to wash the sheets and the bed was uncomfortable, so I barely slept. When I was checking out, they asked if I enjoyed my stay. When I said "no" they didn't even care enough to ask why.
