Family Staying for a Night

We ended up Not Staying due to just an hour after check in my 8 yr old found a Bug on the wall which happened to be a COCKROACH!!! Tired to Kill it and missed! We moved rooms immediately as we were waiting on my husband to get done with our car and come get us. I was so Disgusted, Grossed Out as was my poor boy! I have NEVER been to a Hotel that had COCKROACH'S or Lived with Any! Went to a Nicer Hotel who gave us a discount & upgraded us to a Suite due to our problem with Super 8. Needless to say we will not be returning or to any Super 8, I know why I usually Never stayed at a Super 8.

Better off at hotel nextdoor.

Showed up at around 11:00 p.m., check in was a very slow process compared to other locations. Was given to a room that would not open. Had to get management to attempt to open. Door still didnt open. Was given new card and room. Room was clean pillows were small. Bed was uncomfortable.

We arrived at 10pm there was only about 10 cars in the lot. we went inside and there were like 4 people in the lobby. We went to our room and found like 10 bug crawling around in the bathroom. We should have left then but continued to stay because it was late and had no where else to go then it like someone lived in the room above us. It was so loud all night. Its like they were moving furniture around. In a hotel where no one was at you would think they would have put us somewhere different. Then we took a shower in the morning. They towels were so gross i used my shirt to dry my body off. I would never recommend this to anyone!!

Not a happy camper

I booked 2 rooms for the weekend, 1 in smoking & the other in non smoking for friends of ours for a 2 day race. The non smoking room, both beds sheets needed changed, rhey were stained & looked like it hadn't been changed, just tucked back in. They did bring new sheets for the beds. Floor was dirty & looked like it had been spot vacuumed, not the whole floor, chair wasnt moved, dust in window sill. The wife & i have both worked in the hotel industry previously, so we know the difference. Now our room in smoking, our 1st room to be expected smelled like smoke, but floor was not vacuumed, when we turned the light on over the desk, we both saw a cocroach run out of the notebook the have by TV & saw it run under the tv. I have 2 kids with us also. So we asked for a different room. The night manager opened our 2nd room in smoking & thats when we saw a bigger cocroach run across the desk & under the desk into the corner. I took a picture of this bug & confirmed what it was. We asked for a different room & we were told by him that "well it looks like you wont be satisfied with any room here, so why are you still here". I have the recording of that. We informed him that i paid for the rooms in advance & were non refundable. He said that wasnt his problem, but he had 1 last room he could show us, but we probably wouldn't like it, it only had a queen & a twin in it. He opened it up & it was the cleanest of all 4 rooms, but thats not saying much. Beds were cumfy & tv worked.

It's a clean place to sleep!

Everything here is sufficient. No Breakfast because of Covid-19 but that is to be expected. They do have coffee fruit and a breakfast snack (muffins or donuts) in the AM. The pool IS open so that is plus. My room was clean. The bed is not the most comfortable but its still a place to sleep!

The property did appear clean on surface but i did find a bedbug crawling on opposite bed I wasn't using to sleep. Management corrected problem right away.

Beds were dirty. Dirt came out of the ice machine. Staff was rude. I will sleep in my truck before I will ever stay there again!

Good Overnight Place to Stay

Fine place to stay overall. My parents and I stopped here overnight on a weekend trip to Iowa from Missouri. Everything seemed fine to us overall.
