This is an average hotel with an average price. Not enough pool chairs, which we expected but this hotel has a severe shortage. Food was average, nothing special. Location is great, short taxi ride anywhere. Beware - there are stairs everywhere...to lobby, to pool, to beach, to restaurants. They have golf carts to go up to your room but you have to wait for one to come along.

The staff was real friendly. The food was awesome. The hotel was pretty nice. Really beautiful view from the top pool section.

Service at poolside bar and buffet is terrible during morning and afternoon hours. Bartender does not serve on first come first serve basis, instead making you wait up to 30 minutes while serving who he wants. I addressed this to manager Armando but was not taken seriously. Will never set foot in a Park Royal again.

Great view from my room; beach club was a short walk from the hotel; there are shuttles that take you to your rooms and to the beach club; the Italian restaurant on the 6th floor was excellent; some staff didn't seem very engaged but the majority were polite and accomodating.

I was quoted for 2 people upon arrival they asked me for more money. Food was terrible, room was dirty. Place is outdated. Not worth it, went to the Barcelo across the street worth it

The staff, mostly the restaurant, bar staff and wait staff, and playmaker group make this resort what it is. It's an older but clean resort that is being gradually remodeled that is pleasant to stay at. Built into the side of a mountain, so if you have mobility issues DO NOT GO HERE.
