Incredibly friendly staff, love the afternoon wine sipping, met some lovely people and dogs. Bed is SUPER comfortable. There’s a lot of noise outside in the ams with people talking, the breakfast deliveries (which is a nice treat btw!)?in the stairwell and it’s probably quieter upstairs. We used our phone on the second morning for “white noise” which helped. But a nice stay overall

Old place but remodeled. Shower was barely trickling some water. Neighb9rs were really noisy until 2am and no one did much about it. (I was offered a $5 wine for it.) Some safety alarm or ohone started beeping next door at 6am. Room servise people start chattering pretty loudly starti g at 7am...

Cozy, comfortable and dog friendly!
We had a wonderful stay at the Getaway. Perfect location just steps from the shops and restaurants of downtown Carmel. I enjoyed the complimentary treats, like the coffee as I took my dog for his morning walk and a glass of wine during happy hour on the patio in the evenings. I very much appreciated how accommodating and friendly the staff was for my dog. We would definitely stay here again!

Stay at The Getaway!
This super cute Boutique Motel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff was fun friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and there is a small gas fireplace to help keep you warm on chilly nights. In the a.m. there was coffee and room service breakfast-due to covid, which was nice. At night from 5 to 6 p.m. they serve wine and you can sit at one of two outdoor fireplaces, very cozy. The neighborhood is filled with big trees and tons of hummingbirds, it was magical. Restaurants, shopping, and art galleries are all within a walking distance. Most of the restaurants and shops are dog friendly and even have menus that cater to pups! It's a quick 10 to 15 minute walk down to the beach which is beautiful and is also dog friendly. I think anyone would enjoy their stay at The Getaway and I look forward to coming back. Thank you!
