NICE RESORT, ISOLATED LOCATION
Sprawling 3-4 story colorful buildings with upward of ten pools on a large, campus-like property along a white sand beach. Maintenance on the buildings and landscape were excellent as was the quality of staff. Our room was clean, well maintained, of decent size with a large somewhat hard bed and a quiet AC/heating system. Some pool areas were family friendly and others were adult only. Overall the vibe was low key which may be boring for some. Each evening the they hosted high production quality entertainment in their outdoor amphitheater.
High marks overall with a few negatives: No wi-fi in the rooms, old-school metal room keys and daily charge for in-room safe that was too small for a 13” laptop. Big negative: Meals. Breakfast was OK but lunch and dinner were not good at all. In fact, among dozens of resorts I’ve visited this was the worst food ever.
Location was isolated at the eastern tip of Bucerias and a two mile walk or taxi ride to the four block downtown area hosting beach bars and restaurants. Overall we much prefer the higher energy of a resort closer to the heart of PV.
