Fab experience, very helpful, cordial staff. We were given an upgrade and complimentary pastry too. Only flag is that they didn’t allow outside food, which increases your overall expense and stated state law as the reason, which being a lawyer I know is not the case.

Room was very normal. junior staff attitude need to change. Head staff very good. Food Average. lot of miss management problem. Roof top restaurant food and service very good. But does not feel like Taj standard Hotel....just Blessed with local and History.....should really improve....

Superb hotel with great service. The check-in was very smooth. We got upgraded to Palace, the 115 year old building is quite amazing. The whole property is well maintained with excellent cleanliness, sanitizers, wipes and safety gear at every place. The breakfast at the Sea Lounge was wonderful experience with great views. The only thing they need to improve is clarity on the inclusive packages they offer. At the checkout there was confusion which could have been avoided.

The stay was disappointing. Room no. 907 had a hole in the comforter. We felt that COVID 19 was used as an excuse for cost cutting with toiletries not being sup}pied for 2 persons during cleaning schedules. We had to literally ask for soap. The set menu for breakfast was the same for the whole 5 days. Overall it was disappointing and didn't feel like it used to be.
