The property is simply beautiful. Stunning views, a charming beach, amazing landscaping, and a lovely, refreshing pool made the outdoor surroundings delightful. The rooms (we had a mountain view for a week and an ocean view for another week) were spacious and comfortable. Staff was attentive and the breakfasts on the outdoor terrace were delicious. The air-conditioning made sleeping easy. Villas Fa-Sol is off the beaten path which was just what we wanted. People who want more activity, shopping, and variation in dining might find it too isolated. But taxis are inexpensive and convenient for getting to the rest of the Hautulco which offers a broad range of touristy things to do. We mostly stayed right on the property and another beach a short walk away because we were sure that nothing else out there could possibly be an improvement.

I like the decoration..beautiful,,clean and personnel, the best, don't like...maybe the distance to the town.

The staff were very helpful. The local was a bit out of town. The beach next door was incredible, great snorkeling and private.

Amazing place, setting and amenities. Meeting the amazing owner was a bonus.

We were upgraded to the corner Tortuga room and loved the 180 degree view of the ocean. There is a beach just below the property and a 3 min walk to another private beach good for swimming. The breakfast was good with several choices each day. The family and staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place is a unique little hideaway, very quiet and restful in a residential neighborhood. We wanted tranquility and we got it, the staff were very assistive to our needs, food was good but no dinner. We were accommodated very well with the room, clean and comfortable. Best to know a little Spanish which I was more than rusty at, but had fun. Would go back for sure, not a party place with madness going on.

Villas Fa-sol is a short drive out of town and so, offers serenity and quick access to their beautiful coastline and beaches. The architecture is something to be seen and appreciated.

Like...Tranquil Setting. Cleanliness. Private Beach. Breakfast. Room. Concern...No kitchenette. One coffee pot. One bar fridge. No Utensils. Had to purchase glasses, plates, and spoons.

Great spot away from the crowds. The place is family-run and they look after you well. English is marginal, the restaurant closes at 5 so you have to cab it somewhere to eat later than that. A bit dated and some things are in need of repair, but hey, it's Mexico. We loved our time there and will be back.
