Not very clean , good location

Not very clean ... especially in the toilet Noisy as well as the wood floor and I think because is vintage building. Very vintage pretty building just not very clean in the bathroom and very noisy actually is a small room too.

Close to i-Site but improvements needed

There should be alerts to users of the small pool that it is deep at one end. The night I checked in, I went into the pool at the deep side. Not aware of the height, I struggled to grab the edge of the pool as I sank and sustained scratches to my left arm when my skin rubbed against the rough surface. We stayed there for three nights. We had buffet breakfast on the first morning there so we could control the time, but on the second day, we had to order from the menu (as there was no buffet) and we had to wait a long time for the food to arrive. If we had been told about this arrangement earlier, we would have gone earlier for breakfast.

Everything is good!

Nice location. Easy to reach other tourist destinations. The staff are very nice and they treat everyone as their VIP. Unlimited WiFi is provided which is better than a lot of hotels in New Zealand but it s a bit slow. The room is a bit small but it is fine for living few days. Overall this hotel is worth to live.

I booked the room include the breakfast but the staff didn't mention when we check in so we ended up didn't remember to have breakfast in the hotel...... until I check for hotel on my ongoing trips tonight. That is very sad that the service is not good enough. The outlook of the building is a historical building but the apartment we stayed was in old condition and it does not look like the photos we saw from the website. I totally feel it is overprice because of the service and the room condition. Location wise is ok.

It is quite near to the town centre, however, the kitchen tools are far from sufficient. The pots are easily burnt, and there is no exhaust hood. The sauna and the hot pools are free of charge and we enjoyed ourselves a lot, especially after mountain biking.

Great stay, sound carries.

Lovely hotel, great spot, loved having the hot water pools handy. The only let down is that due to the old building the sound proofing is awful. We could hear a kid running about upstairs, and next door banging their doors. This didn't ruin our holiday, but if you're people who want to pretend other guests don't exist on holiday then you might struggle.
