My wife were searching for a nice place to spend our first anniversary and I saw the pictures and write up (from Wildwood's site ) advertising their tropical getaway style setting.
We booked a poolside room.
When we got to the room, it was dated and worn out !
The furniture was from the 60s, the comforter was from the 70s and the mattress was so soft that I thought I was going to fall through the floor when I sat down on it. Some of bed spread was touching the floor and ther walls and door frames were dirty. The light next to the bed wasn't working and the smell of chlorine was so strong that we were both coughing. We cringed at the thought of sleeping there so we decided to take the financial loss and went to another area hotel because we arrived late and stayed in the room 45 minutes.
Although we booked the room through their website, unbenonsed to us the booking ended up going through Expedia and hotel.com vs wildwoodinnky.com.
The bright spot was the fact that their front deck staff was great however unless they overhaul/ renovate / modernize and clean up this "dump", I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone except for somebody I hated !
