Ok for the money - great pool
I booked and immediately reached out to the hotel during the cancellation period to confirm we could get adjoining rooms that have a shared door between them (2 adults and 4 kids). The person said the hotel could accommodate that - my reservation was a month in advance. I called the day of check in to confirm and was told, rudely, that they can’t guarantee anything. I get there and the lady at the front desk tells me that the they don’t have adjoining rooms at this location and whoever told me that misinformed me. Really? Annoying. Then, we checked in Saturday and checked out Wednesday and no one came to clean or restock towels/cups, and I thought every two days was standard but maybe COVID changed that? It was annoying to have to request cups, towels, and even toilet paper. Breakfast had some good options, like fresh fruit, and waffles, but the the eggs were gross (salty and watery). The fridge in the room was tiny, big enough to fit a few drinks, no leftovers though. The silver lining was the pool. Even with a bunch of kids in it the first and last days, it was plenty big, and the deep end was 6ft. Also there’s a hot tub which isn’t mentioned anywhere so that was a bonus. The location was also convenient for most attractions, and had several nearby restaurants. Overall it was just ok. If given a chance, we would’ve stayed somewhere else for our family vacation instead of having our teenagers in a separate room for the entire trip.

Old and smelly not worth the price
The front desk staff was so sweet and helpful. Buuut...The room was old and had a horrible musty odor mixed with cigarettes and pot. The linens didn’t smell fresh and the tile in the bathroom was stained. The door to our room didn’t close all the way. Even with the dead bolt locked, I could see out into the hallway thus allowing light and noise to come into our room. Guest were pretty noisy in the hallway and other rooms but I was tired enough to fall asleep through it all. The hot breakfast was actually a pleasant surprise. One of the best breakfasts I’ve seen in a hotel during COVID. This hotel is way overpriced. I would expect this from a $60/70 hotel but not from one over $100. I would not stay here again. I have stayed in 10 hotels in the last month and this was the oldest/dirtiest and the highest price.

Nasty Linens
Our bed had what I'd hope was coffee, but could be a child crapping on the bed - had to get new bedding, of course no housekeeping so we had to make our bed. Grabbed a wash cloth and it didn't feel washed. Brought our handtowel down to the front desk to show them what looked like blood smeared on it next to a brown spot.
