We have stayed at this property previously and had excellent service and very clean. Unfortunately this was not the experience on our stay this time. The manager Adam was both not friendly and quite condescending. Upon going to our room we found socks on the floor behind the curtain, crumbs by the bed, & other garbage on the carpet. I called and Adam stated he would send someone right up. After 35-40 minutes no one came so we went for a walk. I stopped at the front desk to ensure it would be clean when we returned. Adam stated he found it hard to believe the room was dirty as the cleaners had signed off on the room.
We returned about 1&1/2 hour later, I asked if it had been cleaned, he said he will call and check but assumed it was as the cleaning staff had left for the day.
When we arrived back in our room the sock was gone but the room had not been vacuumed. Crumbs still on the carpet and the clothing tag. Totally not acceptable to have patrons stay in an non clean room especially during these times. I went down to the front desk & once again I was told he found it hard to believe, I had photos that he didn’t want to see, I firmly told him he then wanted to come with me to the room. Going up to the room he stated they are training new staff, not an acceptable answer. Adam seen the dirty carpets went grabbed a small vacuum and vacuumed the carpet, you could hear debris being picked up. Not handled correctly at all. He made us feel as if we were in the wrong. BAD EXPERIENCE
