Overall, it was good for the location. Honestly, that is the one thing you definitely have here - location. (but "ocean view room", is overstating the view offered...see photo)
Service was adequate, mostly, but minor annoyances, especially for the room price...such as not being able to get clean towels for 24 hours (even with multiple requests starting at noon, and promises someone would bring them, finally ending at 190pm when were told 'no sorry, housekeeping was busy so we never told them, and we can't get you towels until they finish their rounds tomorrow). Kitchen sink in unit had sugar ants, which is not uncommon with island condos so I'm not marking off to much for that, but for the price I'd have expected better. The onsite restaurant was convenient, but extremely limited and inflexible (ex: they offer banana, strawberry, and chocolate chip pancakes but are unable to provide banana & strawberry (the initial explanation our server gave was the kitchen wouldn't know how). Another table (right across from us so I heard the entire exchange) asked for bread with dinner and were told bread is not provided...despite the fact we had just been served bread by our (different) staff member.. .. The bay is great, and the location is perfect. The staff are friendly, but either extremely regimented or not fully trained and not able to go off script for anything.
