Staff were so welcoming and friendly. I got booked into the wrong hotel that was under construction so because of the mix up they upgraded me to a sea view room and the views were sublime

the bathroom was immaculate. The dining area and the pool area were really nice. The "City View" rooms face onto the Albufeira Strip which has bars that play loud music till 4 in the morning, I would book a "Pool View" next time.

Central position on the strip. Basic room bath and shower. Towels changed everyday. We took a travel kettle as no room kettle. Had bed and breakfast which was fine. Cant speak about the other meals. Used trip advisor and had some beautiful meals in Clay Oven top of the strip, Golden Garden

Big rooms but hard beds

This hotel is extremely basic. I enjoyed a great big room but the bed was very uncomfortable. I like a firm bed but I actually had to check to see if it had a mattress. No kettle, tea or coffee options in the room either, which is a real disappointment. The breakfast was the usual emphasis on bread, cakes and tons of carbs. It sufficed. Behind the hotel there are many. Really good restaurants: 3 Palms is one, about 10 mins up the road and Augustus is another, a bit closer. Right in front of the hotel is a really sleazy street with cheap bars and cafes, not so nice.

Our trip to algarve was short, we only needed a place for two nights, wanted to be close to the beach and didn’t do much research. The hotel is in the heart of town, located on the same strip as all of the bars, which made it very difficult to sleep. The music didn’t stop until about 4, noise around 6 and then the ground cleaners were going by 7 with leaf blowers. Walking distance to the beach which made it nice to not have to move the car, also walking distance to downtown albufeira. Pros - the included breakfast was descent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Cons - very noisy area, room was just ok, not 100% clean, had to pay extra for everything including parking and the safe in the room. Because we were only here for two days, we made the best of it, but i would not recommend for a relaxing week vacation. I personally, would not stay again.

The property is an absolute dump! The staff are rude, the lobby smells like rotting fish and the rooms look worse than I imagine prison to be. They make you pay extra for everything (ie use of the safe to store your valuables, and mini fridge, even make you pay a 20 euro deposit for the iron!!!!). It’s extremely loud because it’s right beside the bars. It seemed like good “value” for the money but it isn’t. Stay anywhere else.

The room was generally clean and facilities were adequate. Most of the staff were friendly and cheerful apart from one lady in the reception. The large black haired lady was abrupt and sometimes unhelpful. The swimming pool was a good size. The breakfast choice was good, but the cereals were stale and not very tasty. The rooms that face the 'Strip' need sound proofing. The young Brits and Dutch people drink and party outside till 6-7am in the morning and make a lot of noise. They litter the place with bottles and plastic and half eaten food. Not the hotel's fault. It is difficult to sleep as the noise goes on till 6am. Go to a different hotel if you want a quiet and restful holiday.
