The room had some wear and tear but I'm not generally very picky about that. It was clean. I will also note that I'm a woman who travels alone and I was comfortable being alone here, even though arriving at midnight.
My room was connected to the one next door through the bathroom (the other one, not mine). There was a sizable gap under the door and I could hear my neighbor a lot. Considering that it was his bathroom, this could have been a lot worse than it was. Still, since I got into my room at midnight and didn't get to bed until after 1am, I didn't love hearing him take a shower at 5am. (Also, he was still up at 1am when I was, so his sleeping habits are rather bewildering, but that isn't relevant here.) If you don't need an adjoining room, I'd recommend requesting one that's not.
Breakfast consisted of prepackaged pastries, cereal, fruit, and beverages, with milk being the only protein available.
The mini-fridge did not have a freezer compartment. That was surprising since during this particular road trip I stayed in plenty of *motels* (not hotels) that had fridges with freezers. It would not have been a big deal but I had food that I needed to keep cold so it did throw a kink in my day.
Overall, I did not love this stay and Nashville is big enough that I will look elsewhere the next time I'm in the area. But if you're a heavy sleeper, don't mind providing your own breakfast protein, and don't need anything to stay frozen, you'll be okay.
