PÉSIMO ATENCIÓN DEPLORABLE
Horrible experiencia, no respetan la reservación, me querían cobrar 27,000 extras y no me reembolsaron 37,000 ya pagados que no pude usar por su cobro extra

Nice resort
It is our first time at the hotel, we made the reservation through hotels.com, we really loved it, they have activities every day during the day and night. L
I have some things to emphasize.
The food at the buffet should be more hot, it seemed a little cold to me. it would be a good idea for the guests to be given an activity of what the gym will be doing every day.
We went to the Michael Jackson show, the sunset beach party and the pool party, all three of them were spectacular. The resort has three a la carte restaurants but we couldn't try them every time we tried to make a reservation as they were full.
Some tips:
Always check the board by one of the pool to be aware of what activities are going out every day.
Congratulations for the service and especially the entertainment team, always very attentive, they even pass by offering towels while you are in the pool listening to a man play the guitar

Some of the food at the buffet was not very warm. The chairs on our balcony were very uncomfortable and you could only stand them for 5 minutes. The shopping on site was expensive and not much of a selection. The staff was very friendly just wish the front desk check in staff could communicate better.

This is the fourth time I stayed in this hotel and this time got a very bad experience just because I did not want to go to the membership sales meeting . They gave me the worst room they have , the AC was not even turned on , the refrigerator was turned off when we arrived, the coffee machine was broken, the room was barely clean and very outdated. Since I do not have a membership bracelet then the service and attention in the restaurants was not good. Not possible to reserve on the special restaurants because it is only for people who has a membership. The plates and silverware were dirty in the only restaurant we were able to eat. After the scam about the membership and the quality I am not going to stay on this hotel anymore. They should clarify about the membership , it is expensive for what I got.

The resort was spacious. With lots of activities. The buffet was below average, but the other restraunts were great!! The room was clean, but area around pool and beach wasn’t looked after well. If you have kids this hotel has activities for all ages!

Creo que sería mejor evitarlo en temporada alta. Pocos restaurantes con horario muy corto para la temporada. Terrible comunicación entre sus áreas internas, cada quien tenía un horario diferente para los eventos. Algunas habitaciones ya están algo descuidadas, pequeñas fugas en los lavabos y regaderas, aroma de humedad en la ropa de cama, elevadores no marcan los pisos, etc.

We did not know before arriving that much of the hotel was closed for renovations. Two restaurants were unavailable.

Las recepcionistas en especial (Carol ) es demasiado despota , grosera y nada profesional , prepotente y te quiere hacer pagar extra por lo mínimo , tuve un mal rato al hacer el check in con ella ! Aparte parece que le estás pidiendo gratis que te atienda ! La mayoría de los trabajadores siempre están de mal humor , como que están obligados a atenderte necesitan cambiar el tipo de atención que tienen , ya que nos vamos con un mal sabor de boca debido a esto !

If you are not a VIP member this resort is not accommodating what so ever.
From the moment you walk onto the property is very well made aware that you are a walking ATM - they do not give you your room number when you check in.
All anyone ever wants to do when they get off a plane is bring their luggage to their room and get settled in. This was delayed by 2 hours upon arrival because the front desk makes you sit down with a salesperson that tries to sell you on a plethora of things including a VIP member package. They make you feel as though you chose a bottom of the barrel vacation. Then after politely declining with a crying baby in hand, they still don’t give you your room number and have another salesperson walk you to your room and try again on selling / linger in your room waiting for a tip. (This was not the luggage attendant it was a separate sales person)
The food was horrible compared to other resorts we’ve been to (only VIP members get good food apparently)
The children’s pool and water slide area does not open until 10:00am everyday and they have someone watching to make sure that no one goes in it while it’s “closed”
The non-vip suites do not have elevators and we were on the 3rd floor trucking children and strollers up and down the stairs everyday.
There were bugs in our room.
The ceiling fan light in the bedrooms would turn on by themselves 3-4 times a night and wake everyone up. They told us they were aware and most rooms on the property did that.

Not too big, beach area was nice.
Reno’s were happening while we were there, a bit noisy and no elevator working.
