The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has so much potential to be a luxurious resort however it was very run down and outdated. The food was impeccable though, huge complements to the chef.

The people who attended us were lovely. The hotel is very old and VERY limited. The walls are paper thin and I wasn’t able to sleep until I got myself a pair of earplugs. I chose this hotel because it had a water slide and I really thought it was going to be a great option but the truth is I wanted to leave bc I could hear every conversation our neighbours were having and I felt totally out of place. One night it was 2 am and our neighbours were still fighting, we told reception and they kindly helped but the walls are SO thin that I barely slept that night. Food is ok, and waiters at the restaurant were lovely. If you’re looking for a good 3 star hotel, then this is great! I do enjoy a bit more comfort.

Don’t let the pictures fool you, this place is very outdated. From the decor in the rooms, to the pools to the lobby, it all looks like it all came out of the early 90s.
Just stay somewhere else. We’re not particularly hard to please in general but have to say we’re fairly disappointed in the accommodation and some services. Firstly the booking process is deceiving in relation to the names of the rooms, and the view from the room we are in is nothing like the description and is in fact quite dismal. I understand from other guests that this complaint is common. Our bathroom is terrible with mouldy grout, a broken shower head and lack of drainage in the shower, broken soap holder also a leaking sink tap. It took 3 different points of contact, all initiated by us, to have rectified. Finally the shower head was replaced but the flooding remained with no explanation and the maintenance person left a dirty rag on our broken soap tray which our soap was in, leaking tap and mould unnoticed/ignored. There was no prior notice of the spa being out of use and the pool bar has been open for just 2 hours during our entire stay, despite the fact that the first 2 days were mostly sunny and they are apparently at capacity. There is no alarm clock as stipulated in the guide. Phone, internet and tv reception are all very unreliable and sporadic. On a lighter note, bar and restaurant staff have been helpful and attentive. Horizons meals have generally been of a high standard also.

Room 433 shower was in need of major repair. Bathroom flooded every time you had a shower. Mentioned to cleaner and she knew about it. Very dissapointed

The resort is nice and staff are friendly. Room walls are paper thin so can be noisy at times. Well equiped for covid-19 and location was good.
