Hotel is historic and beautiful. If you like a busy location close to everything, then this is it. I have a few complaints. Air conditioning wasn't working in our room. I let the front desk know and they sent a employee with a remote. Didn't resolve the matter. I asked for a fan, which they gave me and said a service tech was coming in am. Next morning I head out for a day of sightseeing. When I came in around 4 pm, no service tech, nothing was done and front desk seemed unaware of the problem. Again they send an employee with a remote to do exactly what was done the day before. Didn't fix the problem. We were checking out the next am. In hotel's defense, after 2nd day with no air conditioning they offer us another room. The other room had an additional 14 steps to get to it. My husband could barely handle the 7 steps it already took to get to our current room. If either of your party has any mobility issues this isn't the hotel for you. Breakfast crew was wonderful. Porters were also great. Front desk just dropped the ball. I felt like due to circumstances they should have reduced the price of our room. But they did not.
