Log Cabin in Wooded Area Near Raystown Lake Boat Access

Perfect Getaway

My partner and I grew up in Huntingdon and rented this cabin over Christmas. It was PERFECT! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. We were able to prepare meals and our families came to the cabin to hang out and have Christmas dinner. It snowed the day we were leaving, which made it so beautiful. My only regret was not taking an entire week off to stay longer. The area is great to take long walks. The path down to the lake was really muddy so I didn't venture down there - I grew up walking to the lake through the orchard every day in the summer with my friends. We are already planning another stay in the fall with family and friends!

Red roof cabin, Huntingdon PA

Spacious cabin. Lovely and clean , although bed comforters a little dusty smelling. Very comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen in regards to appliances . Hostess turned the heat on for us prior to checkin.. fabulous ! Fire pit outside, amazing to sit by the fire at night. Enjoyable and easy walk to and from the lake ( 1.2 miles) We would definitely go again ! Very easy check in and check out instructions .

Cozy anniversary getaway

My husband and I had A lovely weekend getaway for our anniversary. The place was cozy, the neighborhood was quiet and the communication with the property managers was very fluid. My husband and I would enjoy another stay at this place, and would recommend it for others looking for a quiet cozy getaway. There was also plenty of good hiking and scenic views nearby to take in nature.

Great getaway

We went to just get away for a week. We relaxed, watched TV, ate great food, slept in, played games, and put puzzles together. Took a day to shop in Altoona. Excellent stocked kitchen! Very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Cabin in the woods

We had a restful and wondrous time in the woods at this cabin. It had everything we needed, down to a crockpot. ( We forgot ours at home) Such an enjoyable experience. Cooking on the grill, camp fires, and morning coffee and pancakes by the fireplace. We had deer walking through the woods right out the window of the kitchen while cooking. Memories were made. Book this place!

Red Roof

The door was locked when we got there! Thank god there was a cabin below us with the door open so we coud get a #. I will say, I called the #, left a message. Within 5 minutes, I got a phone call back & she talked us thru the code yo get in. After that, we had a great weekend.
