The Beach Club that was part of the resort was spectacular - a great place to relax and enjoy the sun, sand, and water. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful plus they kept the hotel spotless

Hotel Castillo is not a 5 star hotel. However, it is a great value. We recommend this hotel based on it's value, and we definitely recommend Huatulco.

We really loved this hotel! The staff were amazing, the best staff we have ever had at an hotel. Friendly, helpful and just all around fun ! This hotel has a beach club which was also wonderful, we spent many days there. As well, the food was great! We would love to go back to this hotel!

There was nothing unique just a clean well-kept hotel

Decent hotel liked beach club. Pools could have used a railing to help older folks get in and out. Quite crowded on Weekends also would benefit from Coffee maker in the room.

I liked the location, everything is close by, beaches, restaurants, banks. I really didn't like wi fi connectivity, so poor

Only that could be improved is the food, too repetitive and bland. However, Overall very good hotel, I would recommend.

Overall there is a lot of noise in the hotel. The food is plain. The room has extra firm beds. There is no elevator to the 4th floor. However, the staff is extremely nice and helpful.

We booked Hotel Castillo Huatulco upon arriving to town (we had planned on staying in Puerto Angel but everything was sold out as we hadn't planned ahead). It was a busy weekend as the first couple hotels we drove to didn't have any availability, but luckily there was a room for this place on hotels.com. We had no expectations walking in, and ended up loving our stay! The first night we didn't realize it was an all inclusive resort but loved the room (we got the penthouse suite in the back building, room 501 or something - I highly recommend it! If you don't mind climbing the stairs to get to the 5th floor it is quiet, large, and has a very comfortable king size bed. We loved it so much we booked another night all inclusive. The beach club is incredible. The shuttle takes you straight there and there is a pool and the beach plus a shaded hammock area, plus a bunch of stuff for kids - a trampoline, volleyball court, climbing gym and little soccer field. Food was super average and all buffet but water and drinks were flowing so we didn't mind it for one day.
