The Kingdom & The Post Office

Once upon a time - a simple farm boy booked this hotel kingdom for business - there was a grand ball (an insane party or what sounded like one next door.) Since they didn’t invite me, it was extremely loud and wasn’t relenting by midnight I reached out. (Thin walls & not caring about shutting down the ruckus) Instead of a glass slipper, I left a very expensive Pillow behind in rushing to a morning meeting (with the king.) I called for help & was told I had to go to the post office and send them a shipping label. Weird. This kingdom didn’t seem to want to help & after she just said “send me a shipping label” I had to ask for more information. Maybe I needed to cast a spell, slay a dragon, or make a deal with a wizard. I wrote a letter to the manager who confirmed the weirdness of this kingdom - Hilton Garden Inn - confirming I would need a shipping label to send my beautiful pillow home. I asked for the size and weight to send a label online - no response. I had been banished from the Hilton Kingdom. Alas! I gathered up my knights and journeyed 2 hours to Orlando to gather my pillow back. Huzzah! I received a response from the kingdom today 2 weeks later that they couldn’t provide the dimensions or size of the box. They had been cursed by a terrible witch with an unhelpfulness spell. May peace & wisdom find its way to the kingdom. For now, I suggest choosing something else. Or just not forgetting your pillow. The End

NOISE ALERT!

Apparently, the management does not know the difference between a hotel and a night club. There is nothing wrong with offering some entertainment at a hotel, but primarily it is the place where people sleep and rest (that is why we pay for "nights" not days). Upon arrival, we were told that the bar closes at 11 pm, which we thought was reasonable. Unfortunately, it was not true. Especially on our last night - we had to get up at 7 am - there was loud music inside and outside, people screaming, yelling, and laughing. At 1:20 am, I had to go downstairs and confront the manager on duty. After that, the noise went away - not immediately and not completely (there were still beats coming from somewhere although I could not tell if it was the bar or somebody's room). But the night was already ruined. Unless you are able to sleep through a parade, stay away from this place!

Nice play for an EXTENDED Stay

Checking in was great, staff was friendly. Almost everything was great except for the very fact that we were unable to book a hotel for only a single night instead of at least 2. Thats just absolutely unacceptable since I didnt need a hotel for 2 nights, just one. So we basically paid 500 bucks for a hotel night for a single night for a wedding. Even when contacting the hotel, we were told it was a busy weekend so a minimum of 2 nights is necessary. Absolutely ridiculous.

Very Clean

The hotel is very nice and The room was very clean. I reserved a King size bed that was clearly stated on the reservation. However, when I checked, and went to the room, I was given a room with 2 queen beds. I had to go back down stairs to have it changed. She was not apologetic, but only said, "no problem"
