They put me in a room on the 3rd floor but the elevator was out of service. I got help getting my bag upstairs but i did not have time to wait for that help when i left. Why do these places still not offer vegan brealfast options as part of their free meal. The lift has been out for a while. I guess the elevator will be fixed by the time their tourist season kicks up. Hampton Inn had the same menu issues. Will be doing a survey on hotels and vegan breakfast offerings.

To be in Poughkeepsie, it is a nicely kept hotel. It can definitely be better now that The Grand has gone private.

The facility was okay nothing bad about it the room was clean. The staff was not very friendly. They sat on their phones most of the time. I called for more towels twice and they never brought them

No hot (or warm) water on my first morning—forgivable, things break. Repeat performance on the second, and my final day—Unforgivable at $150-something per night. All four coffee urns were empty when I strolled by around eight in the morning. When I brought it to the attention of the friendly, but clearly overworked desk clerk, she took the urns away for a refilling. After waiting around for 10-15 minutes, I walked away disappointed. The complimentary breakfast buffet was substandard. Outside of its location, this poorly run property has nothing going for it.

Disappointed. I have stayed at many holiday inns and this one was the worst one by far. It was run down and old. Stains all over the floors. It looked like the rooms haven’t been cleaned which is worrisome with Covid. There was a used bar of soap stuck to the shower curtain with someone else’s body hair all over it. The floor was wet and stained. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Check in was a bit of a mess. Was given a room and keys didn't. Then I was issued new keys and when I got into the room it was clearly still occupied. Once I finally got my room it was fine, but could use some updating. Carpet looked very dirty. Everything else seemed clean, though

My first impression was great. Clean lobby and very nice front desk staff. As I walked to my room the cleanliness of the hallways and elevator were disappointing but my room was clean. I noticed that there was no soap in my room so I inquired at front desk and was told that the hotel was “out”of soap. ???? Out of soap ?? During a pandemic!! How does that happen. The staff offered me extra shampoo instead. Nice offer but really.. no soap.??? Again the staff was very nice but not sure I would stay here again.
