Booked a king pet friendly room. At Check In, front desk clerk said that they had moved their typical first floor pet friendly rooms were moved to the second floor. Get to the room to find double beds, not king. Returned to front desk and somehow was supposed to understand that second floor = no king, without her ever admitting "I'm sorry we can't give you the room you booked". No apologies or even an explanation that made sense to a customer who has never stepped foot in the hotel before. Just that we were "moved to the second floor". Which was really more of a mezzanine level because the window view was direct level with the parking lot. I hate this stupid game service staff plays whenever they don't want to own up to being in the wrong. I booked a king pet friendly room, not a first floor room. So when l ask about my reserved king pet friendly room, I shouldn't receive some cockamamie "answer" about the second floor. Just say sorry you don't have a king pet friendly room! There was no line behind me, the entire front desk area was empty, the phone wasn't ringing, there was absolutely no rush no reason for being brushed off like that. I hope everyone gets a retraining there.
