Excellent property, amazing location

An elegant hotel environment in an ideal location for exploring Perugia. Staff were professional and responsive to requests. Room service and meals were excellent as was cleanliness. Service personnel were friendly. Room I stayed in - described as double superior - required some renovations to aptly call it five star e.g. mirrors on wardrobes were badly marked and bathroom plugs were ill fitting.

What an amazing hotel. Felt like I was taken back in time

The location is perfect, at the edge of the city where the sunsets are beautiful and Assisi can be seen on a clear day. On New Year’s Eve, at midnight, we watched hundreds of fireworks displays from the outdoor deck on our floor. The indoor pool and sauna were excellent to warm us after long walks in the cold air.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location in old Perugia. The facilities here are first class, from the suites to the amazing pool and spa in the arched basement. Great service, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended without question

Superb stay. Staff very helpful. Great location. My wife enjoyed the swimming pool - unusual feature in Umbrian hotels.

Very good location and great service

Excellent position, on edge of higher town, overlooking lower town. Great views from our window. Was pleased to be offered upgrade as I understand some rooms don't have a window. Very near restaurants, shops, churches, palace, yet v quiet at night. Lovely hotel, well looked after, but surprised to find stains/dirt on hall carpet on 3rd floor. Wifi was either non existent/ fading in and out. Had to keep popping down to reception area where seemed to work better Also disappointed that swimming pool was out of order during our stay. A hotel charging these prices should have all the facilities in order. Can't comment on breakfast as cost was E25 per person per day which is beyond my budget! Staff tend to tap on door and walk straight in! On mentioning at reception, was told to put DND card up when in. If it was me, I'd train staff not to walk into guests rooms without being invited.
