Sorely disappointed. Positives: restaurant, bar & watersports staff friendly. Swimming pools picturesque, but small (sunbed reserving is rife!). Entertainment good. A la carte food in the 2 restaurants very good.
Negatives: quality of accommodations and the attitude and lack of communication from the front desk / management customer service staff. We booked a Superior Oceanview room but were placed in a downgraded Ocean Loft. We complained and were moved. No follow-up from customer service.
Beware there is no double-glazing so you hear noise as if it is in the room with you!! No "proper" balcony - just a juliette-style balconette. Two locks on the bedroom door, both broken.
Saturday night we had no shower pressure / hot water, we phoned down to reception and told there was a burst water main. These things happen, but communication is key! Staff were waiting for people to complain rather than proactively contacting the residents. We were told to use a room in another block to shower. The room was mid-refurbishment, layers of dust on floor and had not been sanitised. Shower water was still cold. No follow-up from customer service.
Next day, still no water. This time toilets all filthy (no water to flush!). Nobody could wash hands. No signs anywhere to advise alternatives, or advise "out of order". Again, no proactive communication from any customer service staff.
We checked out. This resort is not 5-star quality and is not worth the £500 / night price tag.
