Hotel staff was super nice but the hotel is under heavy construction. In order to get to our room we had to walk outside the building and then back in through a side door. It really isn't ready for guests yet.

Very disappointed. The hotel texted for my opinion of my visit thus far(after asking to be removed from this function): "I am extremely disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The poor signage, disarray, noise, and lack of amenities are inexcusable for the cost/night. Although we were given notice, I couldn't imagine it could be this bad. On top of that, I asked to be removed from your texting after it woke us up this morning. Unless compensated with a generous discount, I will not have a choice but to express my dissatisfaction on social media." Their response: "Since we did inform you prior to your arrival and at check in about construction, we normally would not give any compensation due to construction. But I will go ahead and take off your resort fee for last night." I find this response to be lacking in customer service and sincerity. We were also told that the construction would probably be done by December when we called for the status a few months ago.

Hotel was under construction and very hard to get around to amenities offered or I should say the ones that were available due to construction.

When we booked the room it was not told to us that it was under construction. When we checked in we had to sign a paper about the work starting at 7am and it def did! It was to late to cancel becaue we were past the cancellation date it was check in time. The Comcast cable was out so there was NO tv and the internet completely was terrible to steam something to watch. Overall nice hotel but no comps for the cable being out at all said they were trying to contact Comcast and it still wasn’t in when we checked out and nothing anyone could do about the construction. But it should be noted that they will be starting construction with 6 months to check before booking!!!!

PROPERTY IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WE WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THIS WHEN BOOKING. THERE IS NO LOBBY, NO VALET AND THE NOISE EARLY IN THE MORNING WAS RIDICULOUS. NO MAID SERVICE AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TELL US THIS. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Location is great construction is beyond. They should close this place until finished.

I stayed at Opal Sands in Clearwater last year and had an amazing experience. This year at Delray, place was under construction and noise outside the room. Elevator had a dingy smell. Drink service by pool was great!

While I would say that overall my stay was good, because the hotel is partially under construction, the arrival process was very confusing. When we drove up to the entrance, there were signs indicating valet service, but we didn't see anybody. I had to leave my vehicle out front (not in a parking spot) and go inside to ask where to go/park etc. I was told that there was no valet service at the time and we had to go around to the back of the property to the basement parking garage (there were no signs indicating this, so it was still confusing). Once we were able to park in the garage, we had to figure out how to get to the elevator which takes you upstairs to the "lobby". Once inside the "lobby", which is actually the spa/fitness center, we couldn't figure out where to go, and once again there was nobody around (the spa is closed). After some time, and trial and error, we were able to figure out how to get to the front desk. By the way, all this time there was nobody to assist us with our bags, at least we didn't see anybody. Once we arrived at the front desk, we were finally able to check in. After this point, everything was pretty good. Shay (not sure of the spelling) at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. Emma and Sylvia at the pool did an awesome job of making sure all the guests were well taken care of with food and drinks. This hotel isn't super strict with masks and social distancing - some people think this is a bad thing, but I see this as a PLUS

It was beautiful. Even under remodeling, there was nothing out of place.

Beautiful ocean view....double queen room was very small...no microwave but overall good resort...old but under renovation
