Amazing hotel with a 2 bed family room, this really helped with our sons privacy and also our own, Spotlessly clean and a really impressive decor throughout. Only issue we had was the previous guests must have smashed the LCD tv in our room, such a shame. We would certainly stay again and planning to go in Jan - potentially if Covid-19 restrictions allow, thanks

From check in to check out our stay was brilliant. Even if it was only one night. Lovely welcome and where shown to the room and helped with luggage and kids. Room was a great size, nice and modern furnishings and fixtures. Breakfast was continental but plentiful

Conveniently located for the train and bus station, which is why we opted to stay here and I'm glad we did, it is a real gem. Great welcome and service from the team. Comfy bed and large spacious bedroom / bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening, food was delicious and the following morning a fantastic breakfast was delivered to the room.

Hotel was a short walk from the train station, which is ideal and totally central to everything. Hotel itself is very welcoming, friendly and extremely clean. The staff are so approachable and nothing is too much bother for them.

Gorgeous rooms and bar. Service was excellent and staff just lovely. I didn't eat in the restaurant as had made other plans but the food I saw looked nice

I loved the room, and it's handy having the pub downstairs. The TV didn't work in our room, but we were only in it to sleep before we headed off in the morning.

From the start a 5* service. Friendly welcome at the door, clean, spacious room with street view, fresh feel throughout. Excellent pub, staff 1st class, shame we already had bookings for other restaurants as the menu looks really nice. Returned two days later on our way back from NC500 loop and were welcomed as old friends...In general Inverness was a great surprise and will definitely return for a city break and Black Friars will be once again our home from home. Looking forward to be back.

We loved this place! The staff were friendly and went above and beyond in service. The room was clean, spacious, and had several upgrades. The food at the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was a variety of things brought to the room.
