I always stay at Hilton with excellent service over the years. However in this COVID pandemic the manager who was on duty on the last day I left was terrible and all the front desk staff. I wish to commend the shuttle drivers for going out of their way to drop off guests for COVID testing at Morningside clinic which is barely 3 mins drive from the hotel. Unfortunately this time around the manager on duty said they can drop me off there when prior to that I had been dropped off which made me me stay at the hotel the second time.

Despite a global pandemic you did not even allow me to get a credit to use later or transfer the booking to another name so my family in South Africa could use the booking. I am trapped in Melbourne. As a large global chain this is appalling. You have had my money since November 2019 and you showed no understanding of the situation people are in. This is terrible behaviour. Will never ever trust you again!

The room was very stuffy as there are no windows and the air conditioner is preset on 24 degrees . Our room had a adjoining door to another room which was occupied by a very noisy family . Very annoying . The breakfast on the second day was very poor . Room 505 . Please refund my money .

Ordered dinner at 6.05pm and starting phoning to ask where food was at 7pm, again at 7.20pm, phoned reception and was told they would ensure food was sent immediately. Kept phoning the kitchen number and no answer, went down to reception at about 7.40pm again to be told they would ensure food was sent immediately. Several phone calls later and another visit to reception food arrived at 9.05. Food was ice cold, rib eye steak could not be cut with the knife sent, not able to have dinner after travelling from 9am that morning and not having any meals due to lockdown. Breakfast was included in my booking but I got charged for breakfast. On pointing this out I had to fight to get this amount reversed.
