Personalized service. They do the extra mile. They are always happy to help. Loved the mini market in the lobby. The pool has a good size and extended opening time. The location is perfect for foodies and central.

Best hotel in Guayaquil or any other place .
This was by far the best hotel/boutique hotel, private hotel I've ever stayed at. I've been to tons of hotels. When the Kimpton group was just starting and revolutionized hotels in the US...I stayed at several. This hotel is on that par but with a tenth of the rooms. There's maybe 15 rooms here. Maybe. And they're nice and plain. But they have what you need and they're clean (which I guess everyone has to be now...which is good). The staff is fantastic. When i got here, I thought it was a joke! It was dark. And the hotel is in sort of a mixed residential/commercial area that is, apparently, quite upscale as a city non-urbanization neighborhood. But, man, at night, no light out front except on barely shining on the sign (that you can't read because it's in black with gold lettering), I thought the cab driver was messing with me or wanted to rob me. But, as soon as the manager opened the door, all you could see was paradise. Seriously, amazing house turned into an awesome little hotel. Front desk spoke English and Spanish. Knew how a guest feels after travelling 15 hours and had everything ready to go, "just sign here". Bed was great and I think between a king and queen. Not sure. Bathroom nice shower with hot water and good pressure (I don't know who thinks a scalding hot shower pounding down on your is somehow luxurious). I slept great...no noise or primal activity next door. Great breakfast in the morning. For $50 a night? Are you serious!? Great place
