Sink did not work floors were dirty

I booked this hotel for the great reviews left on GoogleMaps and Hotels.com. I did not have the great experience that these reviewers had. The property was in decent shape even though it was undergoing construction. The rooms had updated window coverings and the bedding was decent for the price. My complaint. Room 1 I found a fully matured bed bug crawling on me, Room 2 the smoke detector was chirping (no batteries), Room 3 I found a cockroach in the bathroom. All 3 rooms had filthy floors, you shouldn't have to rub toilet paper on the ground and it come up black after one swipe. The cleanliness is what I would attribute to the critters I found. I did get a full refund and the manager offered to place me on the Super 8 side. I didn't want to risk it or my sleep. I've since tossed my suitcase and washed everything I own (Not taking chances).

Mines n my family stay was excellent good stay

This is by far the dirtiest hotel room I have stayed in in my life. I think it had been hit by the hurricane which accounted for the peeling ceiling paint, but that did not account for the dirty room. My kids feet were black after running around the room, the corners of all the floors were filthy, the towels in the bathroom smelled like smoke, the walls were terribly stained, and there was a left plate of food in the microwave! The only good things about this hotel was the rooms are not open to the parking lot and the beds were the only clean thing. Luckily it was just a one night stay.

Nice staff and I'm 6 months or a year it will probably be a nice place to stay. They are in the middle of a remodel and the outlets in my room didn't work and the walls are VERY thin!

To much smoke from smoking people. I could not sleep comfortably

When I got into my room, it smelled like smoke (I am a non-smoker). There was a dead roach on the bathroom floor (I did not pick it up), The neighbors were noisy all night long. The upstairs neighbors kept dropping things on the floor. The walls needed cleaning.

The furniture in the room was falling apart, the bathroom shower curtain rod was not securely attached and was about to fall off, the shower faucet was loose and not properly connected. There was a small hole in the bathroom wall, the ceiling was recently painted but, incomplete as the dirt/mold was not painted over. The toilet seat was not attached. There was filth on the window sill. The metal floor lamps were corroded/dirty. There were flies buzzing around in the room. The refrigerator was iced over and in dire need of defrosting. The WiFi was not working, so I could not get any work done during my stay. No breakfast was provided or even a small bag with juice, snacks and a piece of fruit as suggested due to covid -19.

It was being remodeled and everything looked bad and dirty. But for one night I stayed if been longer I would have found something else to stay in. The directions to find the place are wrong they send you to wrong side of the interstate

This ranks up there with the worst hotels have stayed in. I can say that the staff was nice enough which only makes you feel sorry for them working in such a place. The room smelled musty and probably supplied a lifetime dose of mold spores. The counter tops had some kind of a film on them so that I kept my toothbrush in my suitcase between uses. The door to the room did not inspire confidence - it looked as if it had been kicked in at one point and the chain was broken off. When I told the lady at the desk how much I paid for the room it was obvious that she was a little shocked. I could have gotten it cheaper just showing up. All in all I would not go back.
