We are not fancy people by any means but were frankly appalled by the rundown area this hotel is located in and the lack of care seen at this property. Bedding seemed clean and beds were comfortable. However, room was in poor repair with previous water damage that caused large bubbles under the paint on the ceiling and walls. Carpet worn and stained/dirty. Dust and hair in the corners of the room and bathroom. Toilet sitting improperly and not secured to the floor. Towel bars barely hanging onto the wall. Towels were skimpy and threadbare with only 2 provided for a room that sleeps 4. Fridge smelled like sour milk. A homeless man was sleeping in the corridor when we were checking out/carrying our belongings out at 10 the next morning. We were glad of having Lysol wipes with us to clean the room a bit before we settled in. It was 90+ degrees outdoors during our stay and the air conditioner kept turning off so that we had to get up throughout the night to turn it back on. We didn't use the outdoor pool but it seemed in decent condition.
