I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Giorgione. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of options and the pool was well worth a visit (although during Covid you need to book a slot). The room was small but clean and cosy and the shower was powerful. The location was perfect, right by a small piazza with bars and restaurants and an amazing gelato shop. I’ll definitely stay there again on my next visit to Venice!

I traveled with my husband and two children in the summer. The hotel had some good attributes )clean and well located), but we were overall disappointed. Pool- If access to a swimming pool is one of the reasons you plan to stay here I encourage you to reconsider since guests DO NOT have access to the pool during COVID times. You are entitled to one 20 minute slot per room per day, and we asked immediately after checking in and there were no more slots the day we arrived or the day after. Service - the waiters and barman were great, but the front desk staff was not courteous nor very accommodating. Room- Our room was not confortable and they were quite noisy at night. Breakfast- We had to stand in a long line for breakfast and ended up sitting in an unattractive space to have our meal (outside tables reserved for some ‘special’ rooms and mostly unused, or quickly taken by other guests while they stood in line, thus blocking them for about 15 minutes prior to using them. In general, we did not feel it was good value for the money.

It was nice but not as expected the room description did not match what we found even though the same description was on Expedia & booking but that's the Managements fault. The breakfast was amazing, room was clean unfortunately you can't adjust the ac in the room yourself.
A fabulous hotel in great location. Rooms very attractive and great shared areas with comfy sofas and wonderful bar. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easy to walk to all major sites and great local restaurants. Shall definitely return.

I have stayed here many years ago and it is still as lovely as ever. This is an example of old Italy. The staff is exceptional, very friendly and most helpful. The included breakfast was delicious with many choices to accommodate all tastes. Our room was quaint, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was a bit tight, but we managed just fine. There is a vaporetto stop very close, as well as shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

I do not recommend anyone to book or stay at this hotel. I booked through Hotels.com. Venice had the worst flooding in 50 years. I tried to cancel it through Hotels.com. They called the hotel many times and no response. The hotel was simply non-responsive. I tried to dispute the charges, but unsuccessfully. They are not customer focus. What a a terrible experience.

Great location: Only 4 stops from train station & short walk (over NO bridges) from stop to hotel. We stayed in Junior Suite; I was disappointed. It was good size, but worn & tired. There were 2 bathrooms, which was pleasant surprise. At check in, I requested 2 twin beds. I was told room wasn’t prepped as twins & couldn’t be adjusted until morning because housekeeping (hk) only works mornings. Clerk said he’d make sure hk would know to separate beds in A.M.; this wasn’t done. Towel warmers in both bathrooms didn’t work; hairdryer in 1 bathroom didn’t work. When room was serviced, 1 bathroom wasn’t restocked: My friend had used all of the sanitary bags & they weren’t replenished. She had used almost all of the toilet paper & wasn’t given any more. Her soiled towels were folded & hung back up. There was a note in room that said no outside drinks were allowed in fridge & it was “forbidden” to eat food in room. I’ve stayed in hotels all over & NEVER have I been told I couldn’t eat in my room. That’s unreasonable & that (weird) rule should be stated when reservations are made, but it appeared nowhere in Hotels.com’s listing. The hotel description included rooftop terrace. There’s a spot on the roof you can visit, but I wouldn’t call it a terrace. It’s very small & has no view. Breakfast options were limited & didn’t taste good. I wanted to like this hotel, but I didn’t & I can’t recommend it.
