The hotel is very old and the photos on the website are very deceiving. The room had a musty smell and the bathroom floor was sticky, and there was rust and mold spots on the bathroom ceiling. The wall air conditioning unit was also noisy, which interfered with sleeping. The continental breakfast was also lacking. With this hotel, you get what you pay for.

Excellent friendly and very helpful staff. The hotel is in a perfect location. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Very nice stay
It may have been just a little dated, but the staff was WONDERFUL, the beds comfortable, and they gave us plenty of towels. Everything was clean and tidy, I didn't feel gross walking without shoes in my room, and again, the staff was amazing!

Receipts not always available.
Always nice rooms, friendly staff. If you reserve through a third party and pay at the hotel, be aware that you may not be able to get a receipt. Some of the clerks will readily give you one but some say the receipt has to come from hotels.com but hotels.com doesn't give receipts if you pay the hotel. I like to get a receipt to verify the charges are correct but I don't have to turn it in for reimbursement. so just check my statement when I get home.
